This was my first experiment at getting to understand shooting the night sky. It is a failed attempt at a time-lapse, but I still had a lot of fun and I appreciate the imperfection, artistically.
This night was shot from the top of Mount Washington in Los Angeles. The overlook was lined with photographers from around the world. I made a few friends. So fun.
Shot with a Canon 7D and dropped in as a sequence to Premiere then sped up by 500%. No color correction, the colors are already so good. That’s my beginner guitar skills to go along with my kinder-time-lapse.
